Abstract:	This week the first wave of equipment entered our three biotech classrooms. These balances will allow students to conduct biotech projects consistent with the skills required for biotech employment opportunities in Snohomish County and beyond. Everett’s biotechnology class is a capstone opportunity within the STEM health science pathway. Biotechnology, and similar specialized CTE-STEM classes, allows students to put their accumulated understanding into practice in a problem based environment similar to what they will encounter in the work world.
