During the teacher walkout on Friday, May 22, Emerson, Hawthorne, and Woodside elementary
schools will open cafeteria doors to students who depend on schools for midday meals.
Everett Public Schools and other county school districts routinely serve breakfast and lunches to
students in the summer as part of a federal summer food program.
