Question: Why doesn't TERC want patterns on the calendar? Rather than adding more information to the calendar (by adding pictures or symbols arranged in a repeating pattern) we have chosen to separate the two experiences.
The versatility of the hundred chart allows for linear patterns, border patterns and also checker board-type patterns.
For example, the pattern might be, red-blue-red-blue-red-blue.
