Teachers who have earned a teaching certificate from another state and they had five years of teaching experience out-of-state before coming to Washington – they DO qualify for the Advanced Track and they follow the Advanced Track route once they enroll in the Pro Cert program.
In order to be officially categorized as Advanced Track candidates they do need to do some paperwork, however.
That sheet should identify:
· the state where they received their teaching certificate,· the names of the school districts where they taught, and · the amount of time they taught.
