- 40-Year Modernizations Summary: The District has developed a modernization schedule to identify school facilities that will require modernization based on a 40-year modernization and/or replacement cycle.
- Reasons for this include changes in educational delivery (program), systems failure and general wear and tear.
- Phase I modernizations, which includes Garfield, Jefferson, Monroe, Silver Lake, View Ridge and Whittier Elementary Schools as well as the Everett High School Little Theater and Gymnasium buildings, is nearing completion and was funded by the 2006 Bond.
