View Ridge Elementary plants seeds of stewardship
Students grow flowers, vegetables and learn science in new school garden
View Ridge Elementary students celebrated the start
of spring on March 20 with a grand opening ceremony
for their new raised beds.
- Students will grow vegetables and flowers which will
be used for school events.
- The garden will also be
used as an outdoor classroom in which students
engage in hands-on science lessons.
- Families, staff and community volunteers built the garden beds and shed.
