AUTHORIZE INTERGOVERNMENTAL
COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT WITH
OmITCE OF STATE PROCUREMENT
WHEREAS, public agencies in the State ofWashington are authorized by RCW
39.34, The Interlocal Cooperative Act, to enter into cooperative agreements, and
to establish and maintain a joint purchasing agency for the purchase ofvarious
equipment, supplies and services; and
WHEREAS, the district desires to reduce its respective costs in purchasing various
equipment, supplies and services for use in the district; and
WHEREAS, the Board ofDirectors has determined that the best interest ofthe
district shall be served by the formation and maintenance of a joint purchasing
agreement.
