stub by logging into Employee On-line at:
http://www.everett.k12.wa.us/everett/Employee%20Online
Please be aware of the higher payroll taxes effective January 1,
2013.
- The Social Security tax rate
had been temporarily reduced for tax years 2011 and 2012 in what was referred to as a
payroll tax holiday.
- The reduced Social Security
tax thus expired at the end of 2012, as it was scheduled to do.
- The Medicare tax rate will remain at 1.45% for both
the Employee and Employer.
