ADOPTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2008-2009 BUDGET
WHEREAS, WAC 392-123-054 requires that the District's Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Budget
be adopted and tax levies certified on or before August 31, 2008, and
WHEREAS, a public notice was published announcing that on August 26, 2008, the Board
of Directors of Everett Public Schools would hold a public meeting for the purpose of fixing
and adopting the 2008-2009 Budget; and
WHEREAS, the District has certified for 2009 a General Fund Maintenance and Operations
Excess Levy in the amount of $34,500,000, and a Debt Service Fund Levy of $36,000,000;
