ADOPTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2002-2003 BUDGET
WHEREAS, WAC 392-123-054 requires that the District's Fiscal Year 2002-2003 Budget be
adopted and tax levies certified on or before August 31, 2002; and
WHEREAS, a public notice was published announcing that on July 9,2002, the Board of
Directors of Everett Public Schools would hold a public meeting for the purpose of fixing and
adopting the 2002-2003 Budget; and
WHEREAS, the District has celiified for 2003 a General Fund Maintenance and Operations
Excess Levy in the amount of $25,500,000, and a Debt Service Fund Levy of $25,705,000;
