FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXPRESSING SUPPORT FOR REFERENDUM 51
WHEREAS, public education and the Everett School District are dependent upon a healthy economy and tax base
that is compromised by traffic gridlock costing the state $2 billion annually; and
WHEREAS, traffic gridlock in the Puget Sound area is among the worst in the nation, and the boundaries of the
Everett School District fall entirely within the most congested sub-areas of the Puget Sound region, the 1-5 corridor
between Everett and Seattle; and
