DISPOSITION OF SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, Everett Public Schools has some personal property in storage that have been
declared surplus to the needs of the District, and;
WHEREAS, Gateway Middle School requests that some surplused sports gear be granted to
needy school children in Uganda, Mrica through the Sister School Projects, a non-profit
organization, and;
WHEREAS, RCW 28A.335.180 authorizes school districts to grant surplus personal property to
a federal, state, or local government entity, or to indigent persons, at no cost on the condition the
property be used for educational purposes;
