Garfield tigers use technology for animal research
1:1 technology devices enhance learning for first graders
“It is truly amazing what kids can do and how often we
underestimate their abilities,” said Jade Crisler, first-grade
teacher at Garfield Elementary.
- Students picked
an animal they wanted to research and the PebbleGo program
read the material to the student.
- Students practiced formatting and
adding images to their work.
- Their buddies helped correct spelling while the first-grade
students finished typing.
