New elementary school in search of a name
Elementary 18 to be named with help of community and students
If you live in the south end of the
school district, you may have noticed
a lot of action happening in the area
east of Sunset Road on 180th St.
- The two-story
structure is taking shape with metal
framing and concrete floors.
- Ms.
- Celia O’Connor-Weaver, currently the principal at Hawthorne Elementary School, will be the
principal of the new elementary school.
- The committee is gathering school name suggestions
through an online survey through Oct.
- A committee of staff and
community members is looking for school name
suggestions.
