- Definitions
Licensed health care provider (LHCP) – Any licensed physician, surgeon, dentist, osteopathic
physician, naturopathic physician, optometrist, podiatric physician, physician assistant,
osteopathic physician assistant, advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP), or midwife
acting within the scope of their license.
- Medication should be given at school only when absolutely necessary.
- Everett Public Schools accepts no responsibility for adverse reactions when the medication is
dispensed or administered in accordance with the LHCP order.
