Issue 1: Highly Capable Data, Special Programs (FRL 16.5% Underrepresented)
Cause: FRL students may not be able to attend the testing due to the regional testing location.
- We will also review the HC screener data to see how many FRL students who scored high on the screener at Whittier, did not test.
- Parents may be uncomfortable testing at a different location or be impacted by the travel distance from the Whittier service area.
- Corrective Action 2: We will work with Becky Ballbach to identify any Hispanic students from Whittier who tested high on the HC test, but did not initially qualify (bubble students).
