Improving School Attendance for Families Experiencing Transition (ISA)
FAMILY REFERRAL FORM
ISA seeks to reduce intergenerational poverty and homelessness through
improved education outcomes for adults, youth, and children.
- ☐ School age and moving into Everett Public Schools attendance boundaries.
- This can mean just two days a
month, for any reason.
- The McKinney-Vento Act defines homeless children as "individuals who lack a fixed,
regular, and adequate nighttime residence." The act provides examples of children who
would fall under this definition:
• Children and youth sharing housing due to loss of housing, economic hardship or a similar
reason.
