Once class has started, please stress these points to the students and help with any calculations:
They will use their midterm grades for this lesson and may need a calculator.
PLEASE have them write their name, the date and their grade on their papers.
The students will be reminded of how one or two (or more) low grades can affect their overall GPA.
Remind the students to bring these grades to class the day before they are to do the lesson...
