The ABCs of Reading Training for Children's Tutors
The ABCs of Reading is a three-hour, hands-on workshop that prepares adults to become reading tutors for children in grades K-3.
The training is appropriate for classroom volunteers and tutors who work one-to-one with kids in after-school programs.

Lesson Planning - Learn to plan lessons that include activities that will benefit children the most.
Session #4: January 13th, 2009, 3 pm – 6 pm
Reading with Children at the Secondary Grades - Learn a variety of strategies to support children with their reading and help them develop greater fluency and comprehension.
